Beauty Jobs in the UK

To apply for a Beauty position through Lima Recruitment you will need to be eligible to work in the UK and hold a recognised beauty qualification, for a temporary position you will need a minimum of one-year salon experience. We will also need an up to date CV this will not be forwarded to any company until we have informed you of the position and have your permission to do so.

When you attend an interview you will need to have copies of you trade certificates and any product training you have done. Reference letters will also be an advantage. You will have an interview and be asked to perform a trade test. When we send you on interview you will be informed of everything you need to take with you and what will be asked of you.

Beauty salons in the UK are open a minimum five days per week but in the bigger cities such as London this will generally be seven days per week. If a salon is open seven days per week an employee will only be expected to work five days.

Salaries vary around the country but will usually be made up of a basic salary and commissions on services and retail. We will be able to inform you of salaries and working hours when we contact you with suitable positions.
